Howdy, Texas Neighbors! Good News…03 Aug
KERA-TV channel 13, the PBS station serving the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex and much of North Texas, will continue to air the Neighborhood Monday through Friday. This is great news for our neighbors in the Lone Star State. Here’s the official response from the station…
Thank you for contacting KERA. KERA will continue to air Mister Rogers early mornings Monday-Friday; the series will move to 5:30a on Monday, September 1. If you are in contact with other KERA viewers, please share this information.

Thank you to KERA for caring about the children in your neighborhood! And special thanks to campaign supporter Tracy Ward for making contact and sending us the station’s response. If you haven’t already, please consider contacting your local PBS station today and asking them to keep Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood on the air five days a week!

Thank You Texas KERA! My granddaughter LOVES Mr. Rogers!! She tends to sit still and pay attention when his soft spoken voice comes on. We depend on KERA for her programing as well as ours!! GO Rah KERA!!!
Thankyou so much for caring about the children. I could not imagine how the next generation would turn out if Mr. Rogers was taken off the air and another NEW show were to take his place. The newer shows make no sense to me. Fred stuck to normal eveyday things and the children always understand him.
Yeah Dallas for leading the way to keep at least one wholesome
program for children on local television. Thank you KERA!
